Sensing Spaces visit
On 10th February, we visited the Royal Academy of Art's exhibition Sensing Spaces - Architecture Reimagined. As part of the design project this semester, we are including a sensory aspect to the design proposals. Ideas and inspiration was gathered during the Sensing Spaces study day.
The exhibition's video in one of the exhibition spaces was an absolute must for complete comprehension of the structures, materials and deeper elements of the design ideas, influences techniques and processes..
"It's a luxury [to design in this way]".
"Something that is so normal that you don't pay attention to it.."
After the Royal Academy, we visited an old favourite, the Sketch Restaurant for a peep into that magical world… Level 4 and some level 6 students also visited the show, it was really good to see so many students there!
